The sheer amount of food they make them eat at ED clinics scares me.

They didn’t tell her weight before cae in that clinic, I wonder what is was..
in the real clinics they don’t tell you how much u’ve gained…that’s just stupid it sets u off again…

just hearing ” you gained six pounds” is like gaining back sixty pounds
i hate it when the doctors of ppl try to get into y you were/are anorexic and they are like “Is that when u stopped eating?” “Why?” “How So?” “Is that how u feel?” idk i just hate that
Yeah I was thinking that they should not have let her know what her weight was. To her that 6 pounds was like 60 pounds!
you can`t tell if so suffers from anorexia or not by how thin he/she is. even though you need to be under a special weight to be officially (medically) understood as an anorexic you can suffer from it long before

I’m no expert but from what I gathered from movies and books about ED, it seems like it’s not about control, but about avoid or running away from your feelings and problems. When you have something to put your entire focus on and consumes your every thought you don’t have to deal with whatever bothers you. The short-haired girl said it. When she was anorexic, all her problems didn’t matter anymore.
Does it make sense, or am I on the wrong track?
your reply clearly indicates you have no clue what you are talking about. Anorexia is a serious disease. It is a psychiatric disorder with very serious physical manifestations that can lead to DEATH. It’s a disease. Look it up in the DSM IV…
